On 14th August 2023, we, Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School hosted the 7th CISCE Regional Badminton Tournament. This tournament held for under 14, 17 & 19 Boys & Girls.

In a remarkable initiative, students at Singhania School Thane had the privilege of being inspired by the presence of World Para Badminton Champion, Sports Woman of the Year 2020, Currently World Rank No.2 in Para Badminton and Arjuna Awardee, Ms. Manasi Joshi. The event was a resounding success, with the acclaimed athlete sharing her journey and wisdom with the eager young minds.

The event took place at Singhania School Thane, where Ms. Manasi Joshi graced the occasion as the esteemed chief guest. Her extraordinary achievements and inspiring journey resonated deeply with the students, serving as a beacon of hope and motivation for their own aspirations.

Ms. Joshi's role in motivating young talents extended beyond this event. She also had the honor of being the chief guest at the 7th CISCE Badminton Tournament, an event that showcased the best badminton talents among CISCE schools. Her presence at the tournament elevated the level of enthusiasm and determination among the participants, leaving a lasting impact on their budding sporting careers.

Furthermore, during a meet and greet session at the School, Ms. Joshi engaged with Badminton students, answering their questions and sharing insights about her journey as a professional athlete.

The Sports team at the school and team Sports Ignite are always committed to fostering sports at the grassroots level and it is exemplified by events like these, which not only promote skill development but also instill values of determination, sportsmanship, and the pursuit of excellence.
