At our kindergarten, we celebrated Raksha Bandhan with a special event for the students. The day began with a storytelling session explaining the significance of the festival. The students took part in a Rakhi-tying ceremony where they tied Rakhi’s to their classmates as well as to the plants in the premises. The Rakhis were designed by our very own Sulonians of higher grades. They promised to care for each other. Children also coloured a worksheet on Rakhi Celebration. The event concluded with an exchange of gifts and reinforcing the themes of love, care, and friendship. This celebration not only taught the children about cultural traditions but also strengthened their bonds with one another.
