KG Diwali Celebration
Oct 30, 2024
Diwali, the Festival of Lights, was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The day was filled with excitement, laughter, and joy as the little ones explored the cultural significance of this beautiful festival in fun and engaging ways.
The celebration began with a brief, child-friendly story about Diwali, including the triumph of good over evil and the significance of lights in this celebration.
The highlights of the celebration were the creative crafts made by the kids. Jr KG made their own colourful paper lanterns. Sr KG children took a pledge to celebrate the Diwali in an ecofriendly way by making rangoli collage and writing a simple pledge. All the KG children decorated clay diyas and made colourful diyas and Lantern mobiles for the corridors.
The children grooved to Diwali songs. The rhythmic beats and energetic movements filled the corridors with festive spirit. The little ones enjoyed displaying vibrant and colourful rangoli patterns.
To add to the joy, the children decked up in their traditional attire and enjoyed eating traditional Diwali sweets.
The KG section was brightly decorated by the little ones creating a joyful atmosphere.
The Diwali celebration was a wonderful way to introduce the children to the festival’s cultural richness while making learning fun through hands-on activities.
