‘Fire Safety Is Everyone’s Responsibility’. On 9th Dec 2022, a Fire Fighting & Safety Demo was conducted by the Fire Fighter Team of Thane Mahanagar Palika in Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School. The prime objective of this session was to explain the importance of quick action in critical scenarios. The students and the staff were made aware of actionable steps to ensure their safety in emergency situations.

Prior to the demo, the students of were informed about different types of fire and safety rules. Simple precautionary tips were explained to the students so that they can carry the message back home and prevent any mishaps from occurring.

Live demonstration of fire and use of various types of fire extinguishers were shown to the students in the school campus. The brave fire fighters also demonstrated how they deal with such circumstances and displayed several water spraying techniques to control the fire. All the students actively participated in the event by asking questions to the team and volunteering for the demo.
