"Day 6 of our National Exchange Program was a culturally enriching experience, as we embarked on a fascinating visit to the Buddhist Temple Monastery, Batasia Loop, and local markets in Darjeeling. Our first stop was the Buddhist Temple Monastery, a serene and tranquil oasis nestled in the heart of Darjeeling. Our students were captivated by the intricate architecture, vibrant prayer flags, and the peaceful ambiance of the monastery. Next, we visited the Batasia Loop, a scenic viewpoint that offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Our students were amazed by the engineering marvel of the loop, which allows trains to climb steep gradients. They also enjoyed the picturesque views, taking memorable photos to capture the moment. Then they visited the picturesque Rock Garden in Darjeeling. This beautiful garden, nestled amidst lush greenery, showcased an impressive array of rocks, gardens, and water features. Our students were fascinated by the unique blend of natural beauty and artistic design. They strolled along winding pathways, admiring the intricate rock formations, sparkling waterfalls, and vibrant flowers. The garden's tranquil ambiance provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The National Exchange Program continues to offer our students a diverse range of experiences, fostering their cultural understanding, empathy, and love for exploration."
