When the world is going through so much, the embers of selfless actions can indeed help in creating a society around hope and happiness. Humane values have been guiding the Sulonian ethos since the inception of the school. And these traditions of upholding the golden principles of life and living were recognised on 22nd June, 2023 when 154 Sulonians were felicitated at the Samaritan Award programme. It was a recognition ceremony of and for those students who go beyond their regular duties as students, and stand by those who need a helping hand at that very moment. These students, selected on the basis of their exemplary and consistent noble and selfless actions, big and small, have indeed brought a qualitative change in their immediate environment! Director – Education and Principal Dr. Revathi Srinivasan stressed on the importance of nurturing these magnanimous messengers of Love and Happiness. When our children listen to the call of their conscience and live everyday of their lives in the sanctity of their moral compass, they stand up for a compassionate and peaceful coexistence, she emphasised.
