On 5th Dec, an Origami Workshop was conducted by Dr. Sangurdekar Prakash. He is M.Sc. and PhD from Mumbai University in Radiation Chemistry and retired as senior scientist from BARC. He is a specialist in the field of ‘Health Physics’, i.e., Science of Radiation Protection. Also, he is a founder member of Navi Mumbai Science Foundation and Origami Thane Trust. The workshop was attended by the students of IBDP where they learnt not only the techniques of Origami but also related them with the laws of Physics and Mathematics to understand the motions of specific Origami structures. It was a fun filled creative workshop where students created different models with papers and learnt how to use Origami to relieve stress.
