The Independence Day morning commenced with Director – Education and Principal, Dr. Revathi Srinivasan, hoisting the Indian Flag in the in the presence of the staff and the school Senate. The school pledged their allegiance to the National Flag and to the Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic for which it stands. With great pride all sang “Saare Jahan se Acha”. The speech addressed by the Principal was motivating and inspiring for each one.

This was followed by an impressive morning of performances where the students sang patriotic songs and showcased their poetry and dancing talent. Dr. Srinivasan also released a video on the school’s social outreach program called “Setu”. The video showcased the highlights of the program with the Adivasi School in the rural area of Yeoor Hills.

The feeling of patriotism filled the hearts of the audiences with each of the brilliant performances.
