The Raymond Convention Hall was abuzz with excitement, as it welcomed our Standard 10 achievers of the ICSE Exam for the year 2023-24. The ICSE Awards for the toppers was held to felicitate them for their stupendous success in the board exam. It was a proud moment not only for the students, but also for their mentors and parents who filled the huge hall to cheer their wards as they awaited their moment on stage. The year 2023-24 was momentous year for more reasons than one. The number of students who appeared for the council exam was a whooping 642 and the students scoring above 90 % was an impressive 390. The day saw some exceptionally talented and brilliant students taking stage as they were conferred with awards for their brilliant results. The parents joined in to celebrate their success and the students taking their first step into the real world knew they had to live upto the expectations set before them. The Principal, Dr Revathi Srinivasan, stressed on the importance of time management for students, taking responsibility for their decisions and actions and leaving a mark in the career that they choose. The occasion was indeed memorable, as the trio - students, parents and teachers engaged in sharing in this joyous moment the journey of their children that started out with them taking baby steps into the school, and now stepping out in flying colours to fulfill their cherished dreams. We, from the Sulonian family wish them a great future and pray that every opportunity comes their way. We hope they make their alma mater proud with their achievements and bring laurels to the school that made them.
